Prof. Dimitar Dzhelebov, MD, PhD—one of the leading ophthalmologists in Bulgaria and founder of our Vereya Medical Center—was honored with the prestigious “Doctor of the Year 2024” award for the Stara Zagora region, presented by the Regional College of the Bulgarian Medical Association.
This well-deserved recognition highlights his longstanding contribution to the field of eye surgery and his tireless efforts in the advancement of modern medicine.
With his dedication and vision, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dzhelebov not only treats patients, but also trains the next generation of doctors, who continue to advance medicine both in Bulgaria and abroad.
