Dr. Petya Terzieva graduated with honors from the Medical University of Plovdiv in 2018. She completed her residency in Ophthalmology at the “Dr. Tota Venkova” General Hospital in Gabrovo. She has completed numerous continuing education courses in Bulgaria and abroad. She has been part of the Vereya Medical Center since 2020. In her practice, she examines and monitors patients with glaucoma, macular degeneration, hereditary and infectious diseases, and performs refraction testing for children and adults, among other services.
Performs anterior segment eye surgery—removal of eyelid growths, xanthelasma, chalazia, pterygium removal, laser removal of secondary cataracts, intravitreal injections, and more. He treats every patient with care and professionalism.
